World Book Day

What a wonderful time everyone had for World Book Day this week!

We loved the amazing costumes, the favourite books, the fun story-time swaps, bedtime stories, and the way all day, book characters were all around school getting on with things like tag rugby, piano lessons, outdoor learning and photocopying as normal!

There was such a lovely buzz around the school and so much wonderful talk around favourite books, authors, plots and characters. Children and staff particularly enjoyed our story swap time where the teachers visited a different class to share their favourite stories.

It was great to welcome so many children back in to school in the evening for bedtime story fun too!
